Project «Ivy»: patent documentation for a VHF antenna begun

We have begun preparing patent documentation for a utility model of the «Ivy» VHF antenna.

Over the past months, the UARO team has been working hard on a textile J-pole antenna called «Ivy». Made from conductive fabric, this antenna is intended above all for the needs of Ukraine's security and defence forces, and aims to fill the niche of ultralight field VHF/UHF antennas.

At this stage, with donor funds from community members, all the materials needed to make the first batch of antennas and carry out field trials have been purchased. The plans ahead include setting up serial production to supply our country's security and defence forces.
